Het is alweer voorbij mijn vakantie naar Frankrijk. Ik had er waanzinnig naar uit gezien…

‘s Nachts om 04.00 uur reed ik weg in mijn auto, zondag erg rustig, het eerste verkeer kwam in Nederland op gang tussen Utrecht en Breda. Muziek aan en gas geven..een zalige rit bij Breda wilde ik even benen strekken, te stil op de parkeerplaats. Doorrijden naar een tankstation en gelijk tanken. Verdorie hij doet het niet de tank…naar binnen vragen, nee je moet eerst inchecken met de creditkaart dan kun je pas tanken. Dus is er iets wezenlijk veranderd in de wereld in 6 jaar dat je alleen de Veluwe en Nederland hebt gezien. Zucht even waar ben ik aan begonnen grinnnn… om vervolgens te denken “ik kan het en durf het”…immers mijn hotel is al geboekt.

Doorrijden tot de Belgisch /Franse grens voor een kop koffie en een broodje. Daarna vlak voor Arras de groene weg gevolgd, binnendoor, rustig relaxed me realiserend dat inderdaad werkelijk alles dicht zit 😉 in de dorpen. Dan een weg…en ik bedenk me, deze ken ik, voor ik het weet zoef ik het voorbij ..de begraafplaats ..ik keer en rij terug. Op dezelfde plek stond ik jaren terug met mijn ouders…bizar gewoon…

Hoeveel waren het er..ik heb ze niet geteld, rust heerste er met een fluitende merel ergens in de bosjes.

Daarna door…naar Amiens. Het hotel was geboekt op loopafstand van het centrum. Om precies half twaalf was ik gearriveerd. Auto geparkeerd en op onderzoek.  De auto mocht ik alvast parkeren, -3 met geen lift..bizar bizar…. Inchecken perfect, koffer op het bed..een uitzicht wow….5e etage dus over de daken en links uit het raam Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame d’Amiens

Niet slecht..ik fris me iets op en kijk in de spiegel, ietsie moe na de uren alleen rijden..dus ik besluit een tukkie te doen.
